Padma Awards
Padma Award are highest awards in India after Bharat Ratna. These awards were discontinued in 1977, but again started in 1980. There are three Padma Awards:
Padma Vibhushan
It is the second highest National Award given for exceptional and distinguished services in any field including service rendered by government employees.
Padma Bhushan
It is the third highest National award given for good work and service in any field.
Padma Sree
It is the fourth highest National Award in India given for good and distinguished service in any field of service.
