Odisha Public Service Commission has issued intimation
letters for the candidates who have qualified for Junior Lecturer in Education,

Application form was available on the WEBSITE (http://opsconline.gov.in) from
23.07.2013 to 27.08.2013 (Note: 31.08.2013 was the last date for payment of
application fees) for recruitment to 272 posts of Junior Lecturer, in which 10
posts were for Junior Lecturer in Education under Higher Education Department
in Group-B of Odisha Education Service in the state pay scale of Rs.9,300 to
Rs.34,800 carrying Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/- with usual Dearness and other
allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.
The posts were temporary but likely to be made permanent.
Educational qualifications required for Junior Lecturer in
Education, A Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University
with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade with a Second Class in the
Bachelor’s Degree or Ph.D., D.Sc., D.Litt., M.Phill and M.litt. with at least
50 % marks in Master’s Degree with a 2nd class in the Bachelor’s Degree .
Provided that candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes
shall posses a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized
University with at least 50% of marks or its equivalent grade with a 2nd class
in the Bachelor’s Degree.
