 Gujarat invites application from highly motivated individuals to conduct research in at the nano-bio interface.

 The positions available are: Project Assistant (PA) – Biochemistry/Chemistry:

Number of posts: 4 (Four);
Emolument: Rs 16,000 - 18,000/month – Fixed (based on experience).

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized University in India or abroad. Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates and/or having 1-2 years of research experience.

Research Associate (RA) – Biochemistry/Materials Science/Chemistry:

Number of posts: 2 (Two),

 Emolument: Rs 22,000-25,000/month (based on experience); Experience: 0-4 years

Essential Qualifications: Ph. D in Biochemistry/Materials Science/Chemistry or a related field from a recognized University in India or abroad. Ideal candidate should have a good publication record in international peer reviewed journals.

 Candidates with prior experience in following areas would be preferred: Thin films for biochemical sensing applications, microfluidic platform based biomedical devices, functionalization of materials for life sciences applications, animal cell culture and toxicity/safety assessment.

 The positions are temporary, initial appointment will be for one year, extended based on performance. Maximum age limit is 28 years for PA and 34 years for RA. How to apply:
