Applications are invited by the Director, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry-605 006 from eligible candidates for the following posts on contract basis as mentioned below:

NOTE:  The initial appointment on contract will be for a period of six months (Extendable at the discretion of Competent Authority).

 

1.   Chief Security Officer:

Age Limit:              Not exceeding 55 years as on closing date.

Essential Qualification:

An officer with minimum 20 years commissioned service in Army/Navy/Air Force or Para-Military Force only not below the rank of Lt. Col or equivalent.

            Desirable:

1.      Preference will be given to those worked in Hospital environment. 

2.      Possessing a valid arms license.

2.   Additional Security Officer:

Age Limit:              Not exceeding 50 years as on closing date.

Essential Qualification:

1.      Retired personnel from Military Services with minimum 15 years’ service in Army/Navy/Air Force or Para-Military Force only not below the rank of Subedar.

2.      Bachelor degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

             Desirable:

1.      Preference will be given to those worked in Hospital environment. 

2.      Possessing a valid arms license.

3.   Junior Dietician:

Age Limit:                  Not exceeding 35 years as on closing date.

Essential Qualification:

1.      Postgraduate degree in Food and Nutrition or Food Service Management and Dietetics or Institutional Management and Dietetics from a recognized University or equivalent.

2.      One year experience as a Dietician in a Hospital or Medical Institute.

Or

1).         Degree in Home Science from a recognized university or equivalent.

11).      Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics from a recognized university or Institute or equivalent.

111).    Two years experience as a dietician in a Hospital or Medical Institute

4.         MODE OF SELECTION:    Personal Interview.

5.          HOW TO APPLY?

          Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as mentioned above may apply in the prescribed format appended (Annexure) to The Director, JIPMER, Dhanavantri Nagar Post, Puducherry – 605 006, along with the attested copies of the following certificates/enclosures on or before 22.07.2013.

1. Age Proof.
2. Relevant Military Service Certificates & Educational proof for the post applied.

3.      Recent Passport Size Photograph affixed in application and attested by a Gazetted Officer.

6.     INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Application cover should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of _______________________________ and the same should be addressed to the Director, JIPMER, Puducherry – 605 006.

2. Application along with attested copies of certificates as stated above should be submitted in the prescribed Pro-forma (Annexure) as in the specimen given below.  It should be neatly typed / hand written on A4 size paper. 

3.   INCOMPLETE APPLICATION AND THE APPLICATION RECEIVED WITHOUT DEMAND DRAFT OF THE REQUIRED AMOUNT WILL BE REJECTED. 

4.    This Institute is not responsible for any postal delay.

5. The Call memo will be sent only to Eligible candidates.  No intimation will be sent for late applications and also for ineligible applications. Incomplete application i.e. applications not enclosing all or any of the copies of the required certificates / application received after due date mentioned below will be rejected without any intimation.

6. Unsigned application and Photograph not affixed in application will be rejected summarily.

7. THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED NOT TO BRING ANY POLITICAL OR OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS TO INFLUENCE THEIR SELECTION.  THE CANDIDATURE OF SUCH CANDIDATES WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.

8. Submission of any missing/additional Certificates/documents after the last date for receipt of the application will not be entertained.

9. The last date for receipt of filled in applications is   22.07.2013.
